A friend shared a story about her daughter's snorkeling adventure during her visit to the Caribbean. She
was climbing back into the boat when a sea turtle surfaced near her. She turned to catch hold of its shell
and rode it for a short distance. With delight in her voice she exclaimed, "I took a taxi ride on a turtle!"
Hence the name.
